Back for another Before and After Monday! This week, I'm sharing a photo shot in my studio of this adorable little cowboy. The thing I love about using a studio is that the editing needed is minimal. As you can see, all I did to tweak the SOOC is a small s-curve in curves, adjusted the levels by making sure it was covering all the way from 0-255 and a little bit of sharpening. Now, I DID add a texture to the background using Totally Rad's Dirty Pictures.

I converted it to two different Black and Whites because his outfit landed itself to a bit of an "old timey" feel. To get this, I first converted in Totally Rad's Radlab using Boring Old B/W adjusting to my liking. Then I just added a "Fill Layer" to add the tone and adjusted the opacity to about 5%. It added just enough of that "sepia" look without being a full on sepia.
Thank you for joining me on another Before and After Monday. As always, if you have a photo that you would like to send to me for editing or for use in my B and A posts, please contact me at thereasa@thereasagwinn.com.

Awesome Before and Afters. Really digging the curves/levels/texture (top right.) :-)
I am learning to love studio lighting just for that same reason! Great photo. He is such a cute cowboy!
Really loving your before and afters – thanks so much for sharing!
Darling little guy! Love the SOOC, the edits are cool too. The little guy really makes the picture!! Great job!
He's such a handsome young man! My favorite is the edited color one and the warmer b&w. If I was mom I'd print those huge!
Beautiful work as always. Lovely lighting, adorable subject…well done!
Love the composition, styling, light…very nice!
Great edit and a handsome young man!
Really cute little guy! I just got a trial version of Rad Lab, am playing with it
OMG he is way too cute! I love the adjustments, too. It's just perfect. Don't you love Totally Rad? I know I do!
Adorable!
